Privacy policy
Effective date: September 2026
This policy covers this website and the interactive software NexusForge Studio develops and distributes. It is written to be read: if a sentence here is unclear, that is a defect in the policy, and we would like to know.
1. This website#
This website collects nothing.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no session recording.
- No cookies are set, and no local storage is used except one preference: your light/dark theme choice, which is stored in your own browser to avoid a flash of the wrong theme on the next visit.
- No accounts, no forms and no server-side processing of your reading. The site is static files.
- One third-party request exists: web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts when a page loads, which necessarily reveals your IP address and user agent to Google. If that is not acceptable to you, the site falls back to system fonts and remains fully readable.
The only information we receive is what you choose to send us by email.
2. Our software#
PersistKit is a library, not a service. It has no endpoint, no account and no telemetry. It does not phone home, and it does not report anything to us or to anyone else. Numbers that appear in its documentation were measured in our own development environment and recorded in the repository, not uploaded from a player's device.
Data written by the framework goes exactly where your project tells it to: beneath Application.persistentDataPath, on the player's own device.
3. Directly identifiable information#
We do not collect directly identifiable personal information — such as a postal address or a telephone number — through our website or our software.
4. Software built with our tools#
Games built by us, or by others using our tools, may use platform services. Where that is the case, the platform's own terms apply, and the relevant disclosures are:
- Unity Analytics and Diagnostics — engine crash reporting and frame-pacing telemetry, where a project enables them.
- Platform sign-in services (for example Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center) — where a game uses them for authentication, achievements or cloud saves.
- Ad mediation SDKs — anonymous ad-delivery metrics, where a game serves advertising.
PersistKit itself never enables any of these: they are project-level decisions, and the framework ships no service integration of this kind.
5. Children's privacy#
Our software complies with the Google Play Families policy and with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us — most likely by email — contact us and we will delete it.
6. Cloud synchronisation#
Cloud synchronisation in PersistKit is off until a project enables it and supplies its own transport. When a project does enable it, saves are transmitted to whatever service that project configured, on that project's terms. NexusForge Studio operates no cloud service for it, and receives nothing.
7. Your requests#
For data enquiries, compliance verification or any privacy concern, write to contact@nexusforgestudio.com. Because we hold only what you have emailed us, a request to see or delete your data is normally answerable from that thread alone.
8. Changes#
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it. The previous version remains available on request.
