Original games, built one world at a time
NexusForge Studio makes its own games. They start as places and feelings worth building around, and they are finished when they are worth playing — not when a date arrives.
What we are working on
A project appears on this page when the studio can show it publicly: a real title, a real premise, and artwork that may be published. Until then, this page stays honest rather than decorative.
No games are announced yet
NexusForge Studio is building its first original titles. None of them is far enough along to show: there are no titles, screenshots, trailers, platform lists or dates, and nothing here is a promise about what will ship.
This page will change when there is genuinely something to show, and it will change first. Until then, the honest thing on it is this paragraph.
What we will show, and what we will not
A studio page is easy to fill with things that do not exist. These are the rules we hold this one to.
We will publish
As it exists- A project's title, once it is announced on purpose
- Its premise, genre and what stage it has reached
- Artwork or footage, only when it is ours and current
- A release when there is a release, on the day it exists
We will not publish
Never- Release dates invented to fill a page
- Trailers, screenshots or logos for a game that is not real yet
- Player counts, wishlist numbers, awards or press quotes we do not have
- Internal codenames, or details of unannounced work
How a project's stage is stated
Every project on this page carries one of these, and nothing else. A label describes where the work is, never how good it is.
- Released Playable today, by anyone, on the platforms named on the project.
- In development Being built by the studio now. Not playable outside the studio yet.
- Experimental A prototype or experiment. It may change completely, or stop.
- Announced Named publicly, still early. Announced is not dated, and not a commitment.
- Unannounced Exists inside the studio and is not described publicly, on purpose.
What we are aiming at
Not a feature list and not a promise: the qualities the studio's work is being shaped around.
Places with atmosphere
Worlds that are recognisable from a single frame, and that stay interesting after an hour inside them.
Systems with weight
Mechanics that interact, so that decisions in a game carry further than the button that made them.
Experiments that earn their place
Prototypes built to find out whether an idea works — including the ones that end as a lesson instead of a game.
