Licences and attribution

Who runs this site#

This site is operated by NexusForge Studio. Its text, design and logo belong to the studio. The site publishes information about the studio's work; it does not sell anything, take accounts, or collect data — the privacy policy covers that in detail.

NexusForge Persistence#

The package ships with its own licence file (LICENSE.md) inside it. That file — not this page — is the licence that governs the package. It is currently proprietary: Copyright © NexusForge Studio. All rights reserved. Use, modification and redistribution are permitted only under terms granted in writing by the studio.

Third-party components keep their own licences, and nothing in the package's licence changes those terms. The package's own notice file lists them; in summary:

ComponentVersionScopeLicenceRedistributed by the package?
com.unity.nuget.newtonsoft-json (Newtonsoft.Json)3.2.2Runtime — the serializer assembly onlyMIT, © 2007 James Newton-KingNo. Unity resolves it as a declared dependency; the package contains no copy of it.
com.unity.test-framework (Unity Test Framework)1.8.0Tests only (Editor-only)Unity Companion LicenseNo. Referenced by the test assemblies, which never enter a build.
com.unity.ext.nunit (NUnit)2.1.0Tests onlyMITNo. Pulled in by the test framework.

Fonts used on this site#

  • Plus Jakarta Sans — used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
  • JetBrains Mono — used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Both are requested from Google Fonts, with system-font fallbacks, and both are used unmodified. That request is the only third-party network call this site makes; see the privacy policy.

Trademarks#

Unity is a trademark of Unity Technologies. NexusForge Studio is an independent studio and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Unity Technologies. Any other product name mentioned on this site belongs to its owner.

Corrections#

If something here is wrong — a licence, an attribution, a claim that does not hold up — say so and it will be corrected. Contact the studio; the same rule that applies to the documentation applies to this page: the artefact wins over the page describing it.
